Bradford is a small American town in Pennsylvania in McKean County . It has about 9,175 inhabitants (as of 2000 census) on an area of 8.9 km². The city is located at the geographical coordinates 41 ° 57'33 "North and 78 ° 38'41" West.
The 1823 Bradford founded is known as the seat of production of the cult lighter Zippo . The city also houses an oil refinery of the American Refining Group - the oldest refinery in the USA, which has been in continuous operation for 125 years (2006).
