Bralin ( German Bralin ) is a village in the powiat Kępiński of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . It is the seat of the rural community of the same name with 6089 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).
Geographical location
Bralin is located about 60 kilometers northeast of Wroclaw and belonged to the historical region of Silesia .
history
Bralin belonged to the Silesian district of Groß Wartenberg from 1818 to 1920 . With the eastern part of the district, Bralin was ceded to re-established Poland on January 10, 1920 as a result of the Treaty of Versailles from the German Empire. Since then, Bralin has been associated with the Poznan and Greater Poland Voivodeship.
