Brown Furniture Center is a furniture retailer based in Baden-Wuerttemberg Reutlingen, the ten furniture stores in southwest Germany (nine in Baden-Wuerttemberg, one in Saarland ) operates.

history

The company was founded in Tübingen in 1966 . Several furniture stores were gradually opened in Baden-Württemberg, and existing furniture stores were acquired and converted into branches of their own. In 2012 the company achieved sales of EUR 220 million.

Locations

In the founding year 1966, the first branches opened in Freudenstadt and Jettenburg . Bad Dürrheim followed in 1969 . In 1973 a furniture store was integrated into the company for the first time through the takeover of Möbel-Merk in Konstanz , and a branch in Homburg was created in 1983 through the takeover of Möbelland and a branch in Singen (Hohentwiel) in 1991 through the takeover of Möbel-Veeser . The new opening in Reutlingen followed in 1996 , and the takeover of Möbelhaus Staud in Bad Saulgau in 2001 . Most recently, new branches were opened in Freiburg im Breisgau in 2004 and Offenburg in 2016 .
