Bravo annual charts 1971

Danyel Gérard with a black slouch hat, full beard and smoky voice sang the biggest German-language hit of the year. The beat music of the 1960s was replaced by glam rock . The most important representatives were Marc Bolan as the singer of T. Rex and the band The Sweet , which celebrated their first great successes and still enjoy cult status today. The Beatles no longer existed and everything was waiting for solo successes from the two geniuses John Lennon and Paul McCartney . The youngest of the “Fab Four” George Harrison then surprised the music world with My Sweet Lord and the first world hit by an ex-Beatle. This was later followed by Paul McCartney with Another Day , John Lennon with Power to the People and Ringo Starr with It Don't Come Easy .
