Breezanddijk is a Dutch hamlet on Rijksweg 7 ( Europastraße 22 ) roughly in the middle of the dike between the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea and belonged to the municipality of Wûnseradiel , which became part of the new municipality of Southwest Fryslân on January 1, 2011 . The district is located on the former artificial island of Breezand , which was heaped up for the construction of the final dike, and is about 12 kilometers from the Frisian coast.
In 2009, four people were registered as residents here. The hamlet consists of a single structure with the address Afsluitdijk 1. It is a gas station . This can also be reached from the opposite lane of the motorway via a bridge.
Breezandijk is the smallest inhabited place in the Netherlands with its own postcode.
There are port facilities at this point on both sides of the dam .
