The Breitsee

The Breitbach rises in the Breitsee, a designated natural monument , southwest of Rothenbuch at the foot of the Eselshöhe ridge . This small lake was created in the 1930s for the wood drift ; presumably there was a similar lake before. The Breitbach is reinforced by numerous sources in the further course. South of Rothenbuch it then flows into the Hafenlohr from the right .
