Brockworth is located in the English county of Gloucestershire, a few kilometers east of Gloucester . The M5 motorway runs between the two towns and the A417 runs to the north . Cooper's Hill rises to the south . The A46 runs east past Brockworth.
Cheese races
The Traditional Cheese Race is a four-day event on Cooper's Hill near Brockworth. The participants run four laps after a loaf of Gloucester cheese rolling down Cooper's Hill.
Population development
In 1831 the small town had 386 inhabitants. In 1848 it had 408 inhabitants, in 1851 it had 425.
