Brooke Lauren Palsson (born April 23, 1993 in Winnipeg ) is a Canadian actress and singer .

She starred in the role of Miriam Goldstein in the drama series Less Than Kind for several years , for which she received a 2011 Canadian Comedy Award in the category of best television performance - female. She also made guest appearances in series such as Rookie Blue or Flashpoint - Das Spezialkommando . 2015 she played as Melissa Day one of the main roles in the Netflix series Between alongside Jennette McCurdy .

Apart from her acting career, she works as a singer-songwriter . She was trained as a classical singer, played piano, trumpet and now also the ukulele . Her EP The Willow was released in 2014.
