Brookfields sub-areas

Masury

Masury is a sub-area of the township that is statistically recorded as a separate unit by the United States Census Bureau as a census-designated place . However, this has no effect on the administration, which is carried out by the township. The statistical area of Masury extends beyond the township boundary of Brookfield Township and also includes a small section in neighboring Hubbard Township .

Brookfield Center

Brookfield Center is at the intersection of Ohio State Route 7 and Warren-Sharon Road. What is special about this area is the Township Green, which, like the Village Green of the city foundations in the New England states, offers a communal center with park-like facilities such as pavilions and sports facilities.

Valley View

Valley View is a neighborhood named after the Valley View building on Warren-Sharon Road. Valley View is now a mall with antiques and flea market activities. The quarter borders on the commercial area of the township.

Brookwood Estates

Brookwood Estates is a newer residential area near Ohio State Route 82 and Bedford Road. The area includes office buildings, single-family homes, condominiums and rental apartments.

Stevenson Heights

Stevenson Heights is a residential area on Bedford Road near US Highway 62 . It consists of single houses and three apartment blocks.

West Hill

The West Hill area is to the east of the township, but is called West Hill because it is on the western border of the city of Sharon , Pennsylvania . The neighbors in Sharon called the area West Hill and that name was adopted in Brookfield Township. West Hill is a large residential area made up of individual homes for families. It is one of the densely populated areas in the township and was mainly founded in the first half of the 20th century.

Southeast Masury

Southeast Masury borders Masury in the south and forms the border with neighboring Hubbard Township. It is adjacent to the Brookfield industrial area and consists of single houses that were built here in the 1940s and 1950s.

Outlying areas

These outlying areas are outside the densely populated part of the township along the borders with the neighboring townships in the west and north of Brookfield. They include larger lots of farms and factories as well as larger family estates. This rather rural part comprises the largest area of the township.
