Bruce Abbott

Bruce Paul Abbott (born June 28, 1954 in Portland , Oregon ) is an American actor . In Germany he gained notoriety especially through his role as judge Nicholas Marshall in the television series The Conspirators .

Life

Abbott's career began as a dancer and actor at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashley, Oregon, where he performed three seasons in the late 1970s. In 1980 he moved from Portland to Hollywood, where he played the role of villain in the film TAG - The Killer Game in 1982 . During the filming, he also met his future first wife, Linda Hamilton . His marriage to Hamilton had a son, Dalton Bruce. Born on October 4th, 1989, he played John Connor as a baby in the movie Terminator 2 . Linda and Bruce separated in 1989.

Abbott met actress Kathleen Quinlan on the set of the TV movie Trapped in 1989 . Both married on April 12, 1994 and have a son, Tyler Quinlan, who was born on October 17, 1990.

Abbott has made guest appearances on many television series throughout his career. Among them in the series Mord is her hobby , woman power , diagnosis: Mord or MacGyver . He had a recurring role in the US television series Das Netz - Todesfalle Internet , which was shot in 1998/1999 based on the film of the same name with Sandra Bullock .

In 1998 he was seen in the horror film God's Army II - The Prophecy . He also played alongside Jeffrey Combs in the horror genre films Re-Animator (1985) and the sequel Bride of Re-Animator (1990).

Bruce Abbott has since largely retired from acting. He now works as an artist and architect who specializes in tailor-made living solutions.
