Bruno Damann
Bruno Damann (born January 10, 1957 ) is a Swiss doctor and politician ( CVP ).
Life
After graduation in 1978 studied Damann to 1984 at the University of Basel medicine and settled after residency training in general medicine and Fähigkeitsausweis in sports medicine and manual medicine in 1992 in a group practice in general medicine and sports medicine in Gossau down.
Damann began his political career in 2005 as a member of the Gossau city parliament, in which he sat until 2012. From the beginning of 2013 to May 31, 2016, he was a city councilor in Gossau and head of the “Youth Old Age Social” department. From 2012 to mid-2016 he was a member of the St. Gallen Cantonal Council ( constituency St. Gallen ). On February 28, 2016, Damann was elected to the St. Gallen Government Council in the first round of the general renewal elections. He took office on June 1, 2016.
Damann lives in Gossau, is married and has five children.
