Bruno Dieckelmann
Bruno Max Carl August Dieckelmann (born November 14, 1897 in Rostock , † October 18, 1967 in Oldenburg (Oldenburg) ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader .
Live and act
Bruno Dieckelmann attended middle school in Rostock and then completed a commercial apprenticeship in Oldenburg. At the end of 1915 Dieckelmann enlisted in the army, into which he was accepted as an infantryman in early 1916. He then took part in the First World War until 1918 . During the war he was awarded the Iron Cross , the Oldenburg and the Mecklenburg Cross of Merit, 2nd class.
In 1918 Dieckelmann fell into French captivity. After two attempts to escape from captivity, he was held in severe dungeon for ninety days while in captivity. After his return from captivity in 1920, he worked until 1923.
Also in 1920 Dieckelmann began to be active in the circles of the extreme political right: He became the organizational leader of the German National Guard and Defense Association . In 1922 he joined the NSDAP, which he rejoined in 1925 after it was temporarily banned and re-established. In the party he took on tasks as a district cell chairman.
Dieckelmann held public offices as a city council member in Oldenburg and in 1933 as a member of the Oldenburg state parliament .
From November 1933 until the end of the Nazi regime in spring 1945, Dieckelmann was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 14 (Weser-Ems) . In addition, he acted as the head of the German Tobacco Workers' Association and as the Reichsbetriebsgemeinschaftsleiter of the Reichsbetriebsgemeinschaft 9 "Paper". In 1943 tasks as district chairman of the German Labor Front of the Weser-Ems district were added. In the SA he reached the rank of SA standard leader.
