Bruno Epple

Bruno Epple (born July 1, 1931 in Rielasingen (Hegau)) is a German painter and poet .

Life

Bruno Epple spent his childhood and youth in Radolfzell on Lake Constance. Today he lives, paints and writes in Wangen on the Höri on Lake Constance .

Training, job

Epple completed his old-language federal Matura of the canton Unterwalden in 1952 at the Engelberg Abbey School . He studied philosophy, German, Romance studies and history in Freiburg, Munich and Rouen.

In 1959 he passed the state examination in German, history and French. After completing his traineeship and assessor's time, he taught at the Alexander von Humboldt Gymnasium in Konstanz from 1962 to 1965 and at the Radolfzell Gymnasium from 1965 to 1989, most recently as a high school professor. Since then he has been a freelance author in Alemannic and High German and an artist who paints pictures and creates sculptures.

Bruno Epple is a member of the German-Swiss branch of the international writers' association PEN (English, Poets. Essayists. Novelists. , German: Poets . Essayists . Poets. ).
