Bruno M. Kübler

Bruno M. Kübler (born April 6, 1945 in Düsseldorf ) is a German lawyer, insolvency administrator and restructuring expert, as well as co-founder and managing partner of the RWS publishing house, which specializes in commercial law literature .

Career

After graduating from high school at the age of 17, Kübler studied law and business administration from 1963 to 1967 at the Universities of Cologne , Freiburg / Switzerland and Munich . After graduating as Dr. jur. at the University of Cologne in 1969 he was admitted to the bar in 1970 and certified tax lawyer in 1971 . Kübler has been a specialist lawyer for insolvency law since 2000 .

After being admitted to the bar in 1970, Kübler initially worked in a law firm specializing in tax law and from 1972 in a law firm focused on competition and antitrust law. In 1974 he founded his own law firm in Cologne, with which he specialized in insolvency law.

Since 1978 he has been appointed insolvency administrator in more than 2000 proceedings. His best-known insolvency proceedings include the financial broker Future Business / INFINUS, the postal delivery company PIN , the automotive supplier Sachsenring , the motorcycle manufacturer MuZ (MZ), the machine tool manufacturer Heckert , the aircraft engine manufacturer Thielert and the fire engine manufacturer Ziegler .

KÜBLER, headed by Kübler as a senior partner, is one of the largest German insolvency law firms with main offices in Berlin, Dresden and Cologne.

Functions

In 1976 Kübler founded RWS-Verlag Kommunikationforum GmbH. In 1980 he was the founder, co-editor and editor-in-chief of the Zeitschrift für Wirtschaftsrecht (ZIP), a publication on insolvency law. Kübler has been the managing editor of ZIP since 1990. In 1997 Kübler founded the magazine for real estate law (ZflR) and has been the managing editor of this magazine since then.

In 1986 Kübler was a co-founder and until 1998 the spokesman for the Gravenbrucher Kreis, an association of German insolvency administrators. From 1992 to 1994 he was President of the European insolvency administrators association AEPPC, which he co-founded in 1981 and which now operates as INSOL Europe.

Kübler is u. a. Member of the Association of Insolvency Administrators Germany e. V. (VID), the German-American Lawyers Association (DAJV), the German-British Lawyers Association, the German Juristentage (DJT), the Dresden Legal Society, the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Union Internationale des Avocats ( UIA). The law firm is a member of the International Lawyers Network (ILN).
