Neways Electronics Riesa GmbH & Co. KG (until April 1, 2017 BuS Elektronik GmbH & Co. KG ) is a German electronics service provider and a subsidiary of Neways Electronics International NV (based in Son / Netherlands ).
history
BuS Elektronik was founded in 1991 in Riesa near Dresden by Dieter Folkmer and Werner J. Maiwald with 4 employees and is one of the top 10 EMS providers in Germany. In 1993 the core business and the remaining 80 employees of Elektronik Riesa GmbH (formerly VEB Robotron Elektronik Riesa ) were taken over; 1994 move into a new production hall (total production area 6,000 m²); 2005 Expansion of the production area to 12,000 m² (total usable area 27,000 m²); In 2007 the production area was again expanded to 17,000 m² (total usable area 32,000 m²) and in 2012 the production area was expanded to 19,000 m² by the new sister company BuS Děčín sro ( Czech Republic ). In September 2014, BuS Elektronik and BuS Děčín were taken over 100 percent by the Dutch EMS service provider Neways Electronics International NV. The company currently has around 800 employees.

BuS Elektronik is active in the automotive , industrial , medical and security technology , aviation & transport , renewable energies , building technology , telecommunications and IT sectors . Services are provided such as B. Strategic Purchasing , Operational Purchasing, Global Sourcing, Demand Optimization, Price Optimization, Obsolescence Management (reactive - proactive - strategic).
