Electronic Manufacturing Services ( EMS ) ( Engl . " Manufacturing services for electronic components") refers to the complete contract manufacturing of electronic components , devices and systems - from development on the printed circuit board assembly to test concepts and worldwide delivery.

Major EMS providers have factories in China and other countries in Asia . There they produce thousands of electronic components , cell phones , printers and complex electronic system solutions every month .

EMS is a method of outsourcing , in which parts of the production will be outsourced to cost reduce and increasingly on the development of new products , marketing and sales to concentrate.
