Buchenberg is a district of the municipality of Königsfeld in the Black Forest in the Schwarzwald-Baar district in Baden-Württemberg .

geography
Buchenberg is located on the eastern slope of the Black Forest five kilometers northwest of Königsfeld in the Black Forest.
It is a small hamlet-like street village on the red sandstone plateau.
history
Buchenberg was first mentioned in 1275 as Büchenberg , originally it was probably owned by von Falkenstein under Fürstenberg sovereignty .
In 1445 the Rottweiler patrician Bernhard Haugg sold his fiefs from Fürstenberg, a. a. Buchenberg, to Count Ludwig von Württemberg . It was incorporated into the Grand Duchy of Baden in 1810.
In 1975 it was incorporated into the municipality of Königsfeld in the Black Forest.

Buchenberg includes the village of Buchenberg, the Zinken Bregnitz, Brogen, Glashalde, Halden, Lochbronn, Martinsweiler, Mönchhof, Muckenloch, Mühllehen, Nägelesee, Siehdichfür and Waldau and the residential areas Fürndel, children's sanatorium (Donishof), Lindenloch, Litzelbronn and Rainhäuser.
Sports
The Buchenberg trail runs through Buchenberg from Königsfeld to Buchenberg and there is a connecting trail to St. Georgen .
