The Buchholzer Moor nature reserve with Lökestein and Sauerwieser Heide is located in the Neuwied district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is the second largest nature reserve in the district.

The 67.45 ha area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of February 21, 2007 , extends west of Buchholz (Westerwald) . The state road L 274 cuts through the area in a west-east direction.

The area includes the Buchholzer Moor with Lökestein , the Sauerwieser Heide and the Eudenbach glider airfield .
