In 1996 he then worked with Tupac Shakur , Dru Ha and Smif-N-Wessun on an album entitled "One Nation". Although it was never released, Shakur nicknamed him "The BDI Thug" during this time, which he later used as the name for his solo debut album.

In the following year he formed the artist collective Boot Camp Clik with other musicians , released the album "For the People" with them, as well as another work with Black Moon in 1999 and finally, on October 26th of this year, his first album, the 2003 one appeared in a longer version.

After further recordings as part of his groups, he teamed up with producer 9th Wonder in 2005 and brought out "Chemistry" with him in 2005, a remake of Black Moon's "Alter the Chemistry", and in 2008 "The Formula".

Another collaboration album followed in 2009 with “Survival Skills”, but this time with KRS-One, which is now under contract with Duck Down .
