Budapest Bár

Budapest Bár is a Hungarian music group , which stylistically moves in the areas of pop , jazz , bossa nova , chanson , film music , tango , Roma music and traditional Hungarian folk music .

Career

The group is led by violinist and guitarist Róbert Farkas. The other members are Mihály Farkas on cimbalom , Károly Ökrös on accordion and piano , Richárd Farkas on double bass and Ferenc Kisvári on drums . The group often also works with guest musicians, such as Dorottya Behumi , Juci Németh, Mélanie Pain , Bori Rutkai, Tania Saedi , Mazz Swift or Béla Szakcsi Lakatos .

Stylistically, the group's music is very versatile; compositions by George Gershwin , Jimi Hendrix , Antônio Carlos Jobim , Oscar Peterson , Astor Piazzolla , Eric Satie , Rezső Seress and Charles Trenet can be found on their albums and in their program .

Budapest Bár has concerts in Hungary, including the Sziget Festival , in different countries in Europe as well as in Brazil and the United States given.
