Flensburg constituency
The Bundestag constituency of Flensburg was a constituency in Schleswig-Holstein for the elections to the German Bundestag . Most recently it included the city of Flensburg and the Flensburg district .
history
The constituency of Flensburg had number 2 for the federal elections from 1949 to 1961 and constituency number 1 for the elections from 1965 to 1972.
For the elections from 1949 to 1961, the constituency also included the communities of Esmark , Kappeln , Obdrup , Rehberg , Rüde and Satrup , which belong to the Schleswig district . Before the 1976 federal election, the area of the constituency went to the newly formed constituency Flensburg - Schleswig .
