The Bundestag constituency Halle-Neustadt - Saalkreis - Köthen was an electoral district in Saxony-Anhalt from 1990 to 2002 . He owned the number 292 and included the formerly independent city of Halle-Neustadt as well as the Köthen district and the Saalkreis . In the course of reducing the number of constituencies in Saxony-Anhalt from thirteen to ten during the constituency reform of 2002 , the area of ​​the constituency was divided into the constituencies of Halle , Anhalt and Bernburg - Bitterfeld - Saalkreis .

The last directly elected constituency member was Manfred Hampel ( SPD ).
