The Federal Association of Kita- und Schulfördervereine e. V. ( BSFV ) is an umbrella organization founded in 2003 for school support associations . The BSFV is a non-profit , registered association based in Tübingen , Baden-Württemberg . The association represents the interests of seven national associations, which are located in northern and eastern Germany, and more than 6,500 members throughout the country and as a pressure group in the German Bundestag registered .

tasks

The association promotes the establishment of development associations for schools and daycare centers and supports them. The BSFV also represents the interests of politics, administration and the general public. One of the main goals is the formation of association structures at the state level.

mandate

The association is authorized by its members to:

  • Support of parents and promotion of the establishment of these associations as well as the promotion of the cooperation between the sponsored institutions, the associations and third parties and promotion of transparency
  • Promotion of scientific research and support, in particular to improve the activities of parents and school support associations
  • Representation of interests towards politics and the public
  • Establishment of regional associations

activity

The association is regularly represented at didacta , the largest trade fair for the education industry in Europe. The BSFV and its affiliated regional associations accept applications for the “Verein (t) für gute Schule” sponsorship award from the Education Foundation and nominate candidates for the sponsorship award from all applicants. As part of the funding program "Culture makes you strong - alliances for education" of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research , the federal association offers comprehensive financial support for local geocaching measures in child and youth work with its measure "We create German = Land".
