Burckhard Bardili (born October 11 or October 12, 1629 in Tübingen ; † April 10, 1692 ibid) was a lawyer and professor of law at the University of Tübingen .

Origin, study and marriage

Burckhard Bardili was the fourth child of the Tübingen medical professor Carl Bardili (1600–1647) and his wife Regina nee. Burckhardt (1599-1669). Burckhard Bardili studied law at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and was appointed professor of law there. From 1680 to 1681 Burckhard Bardili was rector of the university.

On August 15, 1653, Burckhard Bardili married Justina Eckher, a daughter of Master Johann Philipp Eckher, in Tübingen . A total of fourteen children were born from this marriage. The tenth child of this marriage, Wilhelm Ludwig Bardili , became mayor of the Free Imperial City of Heilbronn .

Burckhard Bardili's life and its significance for the Duchy of Württemberg are, according to the specifications of existing annals , not yet close to the time and present.
