The castle Alzenach is an Outbound lowland castle immediately northeast of the district Gündlingen the town of Breisach am Rhein in Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald in Baden-Württemberg .
The castle, mentioned in the 12th century, was owned by ministerials of the Dukes of Zähringen and in 1283 came to the Order of St. John . The castle was destroyed before 1347 and the property belonging to it came to the Sulzburg convent . Nothing has survived from the former castle complex , the castle site is now covered by agricultural land, it can only be seen in the aerial photo.
