The Buron is a river in France that runs in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of Chaptuzat , generally drains in an easterly direction and flows into the Allier after around 31 kilometers in the municipality of Saint-Priest-Bramefant as a left tributary . Another estuary reaches a branch of the Allier about 900 meters north. In its upper reaches the Buron crosses the railway line Saint-Germain-des-Fossés – Nîmes , in its middle part the railway line Vichy – Riom .
