Saint-Denis-Combarnazat is about 19 kilometers east-northeast of Riom . The Buron River runs along the northern boundary of the municipality . Saint-Denis-Combarnazat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Randan in the north, Beaumont-lès-Randan in the north-east, Luzillat in the south and east, Saint-André-le-Coq in the west and Saint-Clément-de-Régnat in the north-west.
