Pessat-Villeneuve is a French municipality with 667 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Riom (until 2015: canton of Riom-Est ). The inhabitants are called pessatois .

Pessat-Villeneuve is located on the Limagne about 22 kilometers north-northeast of Clermont-Ferrand . Pessat-Villeneuve is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cellule in the north and north-west, Varennes-sur-Morge in the north-east, Clerlande in the east, Riom in the south and south-west and Saint-Bonnet-près-Riom in the west.
The A71 / A89 autoroute runs through the municipality .
