Pessat-Villeneuve is located on the Limagne about 22 kilometers north-northeast of Clermont-Ferrand . Pessat-Villeneuve is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cellule in the north and north-west, Varennes-sur-Morge in the north-east, Clerlande in the east, Riom in the south and south-west and Saint-Bonnet-près-Riom in the west.
