Ars-les-Favets is a French municipality with 237 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Éloy-les-Mines (until 2015 Montaigut ).
geography
Ars-les-Favets is located in the Combraille landscape in the north of the Massif Central , about 25 kilometers southeast of Montluçon . The neighboring communities are La Celle in the north and east, Montaigut in the south-east, La Crouzille in the south and Ronnet in the west.
