Culture and sights

The most important attraction of the village is the castle Château de La Poivriere whose oldest parts go back to the 14th to 15th century. Up until the 19th century, the facility was expanded and renewed several times. The castle was built on the foundations of a feudal moth that previously stood on this site. The ensemble of facades, roofs and enclosure walls has been under monument protection as Monument historique since 1978 . The palace chapel enjoys special protection as an Inscrit Monument Historique . The inner courtyard is surrounded by five strong defense towers with conical roofs.

The local church was built in the 19th century in the neo-Romanesque style.
