Saint-Georges-de-Mons is a French commune with 1,955 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons (until 2015: canton of Manzat ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Georgia .

Saint-Georges-de-Mons is located about 26 kilometers northwest of Clermont-Ferrand in the Monts Dômes in the Regional Nature Park Volcans d'Auvergne ( French Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne ). Saint-Georges-de-Mons is surrounded by the neighboring communities Queuille in the north, Vitrac in the north-east, Manzat in the east, Chapdes-Beaufort in the south, Les Ancizes-Comps in the west and south-west and Sauret-Besserve in the north-west.
