Blot-l'Église is a French municipality with 421 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons ( Combronde until 2015 ).

Blot-l'Église is located about 24 kilometers north-north-west of Riom and about 30 kilometers north-north-west of Clermont-Ferrand on the Sioule . Blot-l'Église is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lisseuil and Saint-Rémy-de-Blot in the north, Saint-Pardoux in the northeast, Saint-Hilaire-la-Croix in the east, Charbonnières-les-Vieilles in the southeast, and Saint-Angel in the South, Châteauneuf-les-Bains to the west and southwest and Ayat-sur-Sioule to the northwest.
