Sioule Gorge near Chouvigny

The Sioule is a river in France . It rises on the north side of the Monts Dore , in the municipality of Vernines in the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park and flows into the Allier as a left tributary after 164 kilometers south of Monétay-sur- Allier . On its way, it crosses the Puy-de-Dôme and Allier departments .
