Pouzol is a French municipality with 276 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons ( Menat until 2015 ).

Pouzol is located about 28 kilometers north-northwest of Riom and about 44 kilometers north-northwest of Clermont-Ferrand . Pouzol is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Servant in the north and northwest, Saint-Gal-sur-Sioule in the north and northeast, Marcillat in the east, Saint-Pardoux in the southeast, Saint-Rémy-de-Blot in the south and southwest and Menat in the west.
