Saint-Myon is a French municipality with 485 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons ( Combronde until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Myonnais .

geography

Saint-Myon is about 13 kilometers north-northeast of Riom and about 22 kilometers north of Clermont-Ferrand . Saint-Myon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Artonne in the north and east, Aubiat in the east, Cellule in the southeast, Beauregard-Vendon in the south and Combronde in the west.
