Luzillat is a French commune with 1,131 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Riom (until 2017 Thiers ) and the canton of Maringues .

Luzillat is located about 25 km east-northeast of Riom am Morge and the Allier , which borders the community in the southeast. Luzillat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Denis-Combarnazat in the north and north-west, Beaumont-lès-Randan in the north, Mons in the north and north-east, Limons in the east, Charnat in the east and south-east, Vinzelles in the south, Maringues in the south-west and Saint- André-le-Coq to the west.
