Bourg-Lastic is a French municipality with 877 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Ours (until 2015: canton of Bourg-Lastic ).
geography
Bourg-Lastic is about 44 kilometers west-southwest of Clermont-Ferrand . The Chavanon borders the community in the west, its tributary Clidane in the south. Bourg-Lastic is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Germain-près-Herment and Lastic in the north, Briffons in the northeast, Saint-Sulpice in the east, Messeix in the south, Monestier-Merlines in the west, Feyt in the west and northwest and Laroche-près- Feyt in the northwest.
The A89 autoroute runs through the municipality .
