Voingt is about 52 kilometers west-northwest of Clermont-Ferrand in the old cultural landscape of the Combrailles . Voingt is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Étienne-des-Champs in the north and east, Verneugheol in the south and Giat in the west and north-west.
