The canton of Pontaumur was a French canton in the arrondissement of Riom in the department of Puy-de-Dôme and in the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes until 2015 ; his main town was Pontaumur , representative in the General Council of the Département was last from 1994 to 2015, re-elected in 2008, Maurice Battut.
