The canton of Courpière was a French canton in the arrondissement Thiers in the department Puy-de-Dôme and in the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes until 2015 ; his main town was Courpière , André Wils was the representative in the General Council of the Département from 1994 to 2015, last re-elected in 2008.
