The Canton of Billom is a French constituency in the Arrondissement Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . Jocelyne Glace Le Gars and Jacky Grand have been representatives on the General Council of the department since 2015.
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "District Billom".
With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was assigned to what was then the arrondissement of Clermont-Ferrand and redesigned.

Changes in the community since the reorganization of the cantons
