The canton of Clermont-Ferrand-Est was a French canton in the arrondissement of Clermont-Ferrand , in the department of Puy-de-Dôme and in the region of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes until 2015 . Mireille Lacombe was the last representative in the General Council of the Département from 1997 to 2015 (re-elected in 2008). The canton comprised parts of the urban area of Clermont-Ferrand .
