Beauregard-l'Évêque is located about 16 kilometers east-northeast of Clermont-Ferrand in the Limagne region . In the west, the Allier delimits the municipality into which the Jauron flows here. Beauregard-l'Évêque is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Joze in the north, Culhat in the northeast, Lempty in the east and northeast, Seychalles in the east, Bouzel in the south and southeast, Vertaizon in the south, Pont-du-Château in the west and southwest and Les Martres -d'Artière in the northwest.
history
In the period from 1444 until the French Revolution (1791), Beauregard was the residence with its castle for the bishops of Clermont-Ferrand. The castle was razed in 1797.
