geography

Mirefleurs is about 14 kilometers south-east of Clermont-Ferrand on the Allier , which borders the municipality to the west. Mirefleurs is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Roche-Noire in the north, Saint-Georges-sur-Allier in the northeast, Busséol in the east, Saint-Maurice in the south and southeast and Les Martres-de-Veyre in the west.

The municipality is part of the Côtes d'Auvergne wine region
