Villosanges is a French municipality with 349 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Ours (until 2015 Pontaumur ).

location

Villosanges is located about 40 kilometers west-northwest of Clermont-Ferrand in the old cultural landscape of the Combrailles . The Saunade River runs along part of the southern municipal boundary . Villosanges is surrounded by the neighboring communities Charensat in the north, Miremont in the east, Landogne in the south, Condat-en-Combraille in the south-west, Tralaigues in the west and south-west and Montel-de-Gelat in the west and north-west.
