Queuille is a French municipality with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons (until 2015: canton of Manzat ). The inhabitants are called Queuillant (e) s .
geography
Queuille is located about 28 kilometers north-northwest of Clermont-Ferrand in the Monts Dômes on the Sioule river , which forms the northern and western municipal boundaries, and in the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park ( French Parc naturel régional des Volcans d'Auvergne ). Queuille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Gervais-d'Auvergne in the north, Vitrac in the east, Saint-Georges-de-Mons in the south and Sauret-Besserve in the west and north-west.
