Saint-Gal-sur-Sioule is a French municipality with 135 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Riom and the canton of Saint-Georges-de-Mons ( Menat until 2015 ).

Saint-Gal-sur-Sioule is about 29 kilometers north-north-west of Riom and about 45 kilometers north-north-west of Clermont-Ferrand . Saint-Gal-sur-Sioule is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chouvigny in the north and east, Saint-Quintin-sur-Sioule in the south-east, Marcillat in the south and south-east, Pouzol in the south and west and Servant in the north-west.
