La Cellette is about 34 kilometers northwest of Riom and about 51 kilometers northwest of Clermont-Ferrand . La Cellette is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pionsat in the north and west, Le Quartier in the east and northeast, Gouttières in the southeast and Saint-Maigner in the south and west.
