Connor Lambert Goldson (born December 18, 1992 in Wolverhampton ) is an English football player who is under contract with the Glasgow Rangers .

Career

Connor Goldson began playing football as a child near Shrewsbury Town, not far from his hometown Wolverhampton on the Welsh border . Until 2010 he played in the club's junior division. From August 2010 he was in the professional squad of Shrewsbury Town. He made his debut for the then fourth division on February 8, 2011 against Lincoln City , when he was substituted on for Jermaine Grandison . In the following season Goldson rose with the club as a runner-up in the third division. From November 2013 to January 2014, the center-back was loaned out to Cheltenham Town . In the same season Shrewsbury Toen rose from the fourth division. After the descent, the direct resurgence succeeded behind Burton Albion . After Goldson had played in over 100 competitive games for the club by 2015, he moved to the English second division team Brighton & Hove Albion . There he rose with the team in 2017 in the Premier League . Goldson remained in the entire time, however, only a supplementary player in the central defense of the Seagulls behind Gaëtan Bong , Lewis Dunk and Shane Duffy .

In June 2018, the Glasgow Rangers signed him and gave him a four-year contract.
