Ryan Jack (born February 27, 1992 in Aberdeen ) is a Scottish football player who plays for the Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premiership .

Career

Ryan Jack signed a contract with Aberdeen FC in the summer of 2008 . For the club from the north-east of Scotland, the trained defender played as a youth in the following two years. From the 2010/11 season Jack came for the first team of Aberdeen FC after he made his debut in September 2010 against the Glasgow Rangers . In the first season as a professional, he was able to fight for a regular place with a total of 35 competitive appearances in the league and the two cup competitions. He scored his first professional goal three months later in January 2011 against Inverness Caledonian Thistle . In October 2011 he signed a new two-year contract with the Dons . In March 2014 he won the final of the Scottish League Cup 2013/14 with his home club .

As team captain with the Dons , Jack moved to the Glasgow Rangers in June 2017 .

National team

Ryan Jack made his debut in Scotland's U-16s in 2007 against Wales. For this Ryan Jack played until 2008 before he played in the U-17 , followed by the U-19 in 2010. After the U-19, Ryan Jack played from 2011 in Scotland's U-21 for which he made his debut against Norway and one Could score.
